Please keep in mind that the instructions for upgrade you refer to are 
NOT for 5207R to 5209R.   To restate, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS for 
that, because that is not a supported upgrade.

If you wish to run 5209R, then that needs to be a fresh installation 
from the ISO.

That said, if you wish to upgrade from 5107R to 5207R, that should work 
fine.   I don't use any 32-bit versions of BlueOnyx myself, but have 
performed the 5108R to 5208R update on several systems without incident. 
   Several of my customers report similar success.
