Yeah, go with what Chris said.

Using the .htaccess is one way. Another is to turn on HSTS, which will
force all Sites to use SSL (if they have SSL enabled). You can find that
under "Server Management" / "Network Services" / "Web".

But like Chris said: That might harm the performance and the user
experience, as SSL involves slowdowns. I'd only really use it on sites
where critical data is passed between client and server. Or when you
really need to prevent that someone sniffs what pages someone visits on
a site, which SSL hides as well.
