Thank you for bringing this to my attention. This goes hand in hand with
another discrepancy: The ISO installer is setting the timezone to US
Eastern, but the timezone selector in the web based GUI setup wizard
defaults it back to the first entry that the pulldown offers. This is
most likely due to the fact that the timezone set by the installer is
not detected properly.

So there is indeed some discrepancy in detecting and setting the
timezone and between EL6 and EL7 something has changed in that regards.

I'll take a look at it.
