The first one indicates that shell access was enabled for the user and
CMU was unable to turn it off. You might want to check such an account
to see in what state Shell access actually is. The safer form of course
being that it's turned off.

The second is an actual error. The user account could not be created.
>From the looks of it the name of the account wasn't present or somehow
vanished from the export during the import.

3600 Users is a lot and there is always a good chance that somewhere
something goes not exactly to plan.
