I am migrating from a 5208R to a 5209R and I am having problems with the DNS
import.
I copied all the dns zone files to /tmp/dns_import and then ran
/usr/sausalito/sbin/dnsImport.pl /tmp/dns_import
Everything appears to import properly and I see all the correct info in the
GUI but the named service will not start.
Here is the output:
[root at mp etc]# systemctl status named.service
â named.service - Berkeley Internet Name Domain (DNS)
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/named.service; disabled; vendor
preset: disabled)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Fri 2017-01-13 12:35:36 PST; 3s
ago
Process: 19691 ExecStartPre=/bin/bash -c if [ ! "$DISABLE_ZONE_CHECKING"
== "yes" ]; then /usr/sbin/named-checkconf -z /etc/named.conf; else echo
"Checking of zone files is disabled"; fi (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

Name Domain (DNS).

state.
Jan 13 12:35:36 mp.ciic.com systemd[1]: named.service failed.
I checked and the file /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf.include is there and
looks fine. (it is stock, nothing entered in it by me)
Any ideas?
