I'll look into it, as I'm not happy with the emailing routine of Swatch 
anyway. It's using perl(Mime::Lite) for that and while it works well 
enough, it has some limitations. Like cutting off plain text w/o 
word-wrap if it exceeds about 76-78 characters, or its inability to 
email in Japanese. We forcibly switch to English for emailed AM messages 
if the GUI is in Japanese.

For some other project I recently just used plain old "mutt" to send 
mime messages from the command line instead and the results were a lot 
better.

I'll see what I can do about it.
