I did that, I see the little crown

I also have the mx records in place for both domains

mail.alchemymetalspecialists.com

mail.alchemymetalspecialists.co.uk for the other

The email works for that account, it just that if I create new accounts,
they don't function properly the ftp tells me that the password is wrong

I created another account and I send an email to it I get

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<gsoru(@)alchemymetalspecialists.com>

    (reason: Can't create output)

----- Transcript of session follows -----

procmail: Lock failure on "/home/.sites/70/site4/.users/7/gsoru/mbox.lock"

procmail: Error while writing to "/home/.sites/70/site4/.users/7/gsoru/mbox"

550 5.0.0 <gsoru at alchemymetalspecialists.com>... Can't create output

(I tried posting this morning, but there is a 40kb size limit on emails to
the list)

I might want to add you should try to ping the hostname as well and see if
it resolves to the same ip-address, maybe you have local dns service
configured to another ip-address.

Is the user able to login to the siteadmin/personal profile itself ? Have
you made him siteadministrator? Else he will not be able to login via ftp.

Germano,

There are no MX records setup. I would advise you to do so.

The domain and www record point to 87.117.205.7

Is that the ip-address of the site you are trying to access ?

Hi

The domain is alchemymetalspecialists.com (main)

alchemymetalspecialists.co.uk (just need to forward to main)

I use external DNS servers; I couldn't get the internal ones to work
reliably so I gave up on that front

Hi Germano,

If you could let us know what domains you are talking about we could help. I
suspect a DNS issue.

Hi,

I'm having a problem with ftp

One of the websites I setup has both a .com and .co.uk

So naturally I listed them both under Web Server Aliases

I added an account and it started giving me problems saying that the mail
loops back to me and I read from a previous post that the solution was to
restart the mail server

So I did and everything worked

Now I need to add a new user for his web developer to upload content and
every time I test the user account, the ftp tells me the password is wrong.

If I add an account on another domain, it works, just not this one.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Regards,

Germano
