Thanks guys, I did notice that once I get logged in there are no 
problems - it only errors on the login - and only rarely (if ever) 
on logins other than admin.

Greg, I may try your solution and reinstall, then bring plugins in
one at a time.  If I find anything, I'll be sure to pass it back.
