[BlueOnyx:07547] Max recipients

I found that sendmail.cf has MaxRecipientsPerMessage=25. I changed to
500 and restarted sendmail that seems to work, but it says not to edit
that file. I found an old post while searching google and see this was
the instruction as well to fix the issue. But will these settings get
wiped with new sendmail updates or where is the file that should be changed?
