The installation CD only provides no RAID or RAID1, as I tend to believe that 
software RAID0+1 is quite a performance hog. RAID10 is not really that well 
supported on CentOS5 with the old Anaconda it has. On RHEL6 clones it may 
work, but I haven't yet looked into that yet.

Generally I'd say: On a box with many VPS's the IO-traffic is usually the main 
bottleneck. So best procedure would be to offload the RAID to a dedicated RAID 
controller, as that saves a lot of hassles and performs better.
