[BlueOnyx:09130] SIOCGIFADDR Error

Hello all,

 

I am having an issue with the eth0 nic on a small server, I get the
following error;

 

"Bringing up interface eth0: SIOCGIFADDR: Cannot assign requested
address"

"SIOCSIFBROADCAST: Cannot assign requested address"

"SIOCSIFBRDADDR: Cannot assign requested address"

"SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot assign requested address"

 

I have tried to do a /etc/init.d/network restart and a reboot. And I
have run the network setup utility as well.

 

No ping, no yum update..nothing.

 

Any ideas?
