I'm sure there will be lots of replies to this but ....

BO comes with webmail (squirrelmail), just go to a domain on your server
with /mail on the end and the re-write rules do the rest.

Both Compass Networks and Solarspeed supply a number of enhancements for
BO which work with the GUI interface - I mention it only because neither
company would use this list to push their products. I would recommend you
look at their websites. Both have a Roundcube install, both support Anti
Spam and Anti Virus packages, Compass have a huge list of Web Hosting add
ons, and neither company is expensive.

Have a route around on these sites and see if they have everything you
want - if not let us hear from you again.

I've just tested Linux BlueOnyx 5106 and I think is a wonderful o.s. Using
it, I discover some miss stuff that maybe they would be useful to install
with, or if it is possible to install as a
upgrade, how can I do that?

- Webmail
it would be really useful if my users can use a webmail also to check
their own emails (using IMAP server or something like that).
Moreover an admin webmail which can manage all the websites and all the
emails, where admin can purge or fix problems and check if the emails
arrive and have been sent.
Which is the standard port (if it does exist) for the webmail?
I tried installing squirrelmail and horde, but none of these can be
installed using yum or install software from the webpage management system
(Install as a third party software)
How can I install a webmail software, if it is allowed?
Somewhere on internet I found about the webmail, it's just enough to
connect to http://domain/webmail [1] but no pages founded!

- Mail filter/Spam assassin
I tried to install spamassassin using the command "yum install
spamassassin" but after the installation unfortunately I don't know where
to manage it.
Nothing happened on the manage interface (from
webpage)

- Installation packages
Is it possible to install packages (alsa third party software) and which
type of "extension" I need (rpm or tar.gz perhaps?).
Are there any servers dedicated to blueonyx third pary; I couldn't find
any on internet.

- GUI (Graphic User Interface)
Is it possible getting a GUI for the server, and allowing me to work on
it, instead of a remote computer using browser? I can use prompt only, at
the moment

- Username
I was configuring some email and I discovered that I can't use equal name
on a different website.
It's very strange because all mail servers can allow to insert same name
but, of course, in different domain.
It's possible to do so or is a "sort of limit"?
Maybe when I create a new username, I should create a name at domain.xxx?

- VPN and other services
It would be really good to add some more services, like:
VPN server
samba
vnc server (actually SSH and Telnet server are already installed)
firewall (even if some functionalities it has)

Captivate portal and authentication LDAP o Linux authentication
Routing and proxy
Asterisk (?)
I know adding software, this will cause problem with the performances, but
using a second network card, the server will be really an all-in-one
server!

- Installation
How to personalize the installation with a sort of GUI interface where to
chose the real package I need?

Thanks in advance and I hope you can help me
Mr. Andrea Leotardi
