Thanks Michael
In the meantime, I'm having a heck of a time trying to help a customer
through this problem.

I disabled SSL from the GUI on the site, then manually entered the cert
paths into the httpd config file for the vhost. The trouble comes when
I restart Apache, it fails to restart with this message:
" Init: Multiple RSA server certificates not allowed"

Somewhere it still has a certificate listed even though I have turned it
off from the GUI.

Does anyone have ideas on where to look for this? Even if I cannot get
the cert working from the GUI as intended, I should be able to manually
configure it.

FWIW: I have not seen this behavior on a new installation / new site.
Only migrated sites...
