Hi (Jeff),

Thank you for the response. In my case (and Gustavo's) it happends to sites that have 
SuPHP enabled. The phpmyadmin package from solarspeed is installed (3.1.3).
After searching some more it came to my attention that people have solved the problem 
bij letting SuPHP work outside of the document_root. This option is found 
in /etc/suphp.conf. You can change "check_vhost_docroot=true" to "false" and that 
solves the error.
It seems to me that a part of the "safety" from using SuPHP is undermined this way.
Can someone explain the consiquences to me if i'd choose to go with the way mentioned 
above?
