[BlueOnyx:09509] Slow Server

Hello!

Has anyone had a problem where a virtualized BlueOnyx (Scientific Linux 
86_64) runs really sluggish... Just booting up may take more than 10 
minutes.

After its booted, a simple ls or top sometimes takes 30 seconds to respond.

Readin top, i can see that theres a lot of load and also a lot of wa% 
when the machine is basically idle.. Copying a few files over SSH may 
take athe load to above its maximum.

Any pointers?
