[BlueOnyx:09596] modules.dep: No such file or directory

I thought I had this resolved, but looking back at the daily log reports, I guess I haven't.

For the past few weeks I have this in my log files:

  **Unmatched Entries**
 FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.32-131.17.1.el6.x86_64/modules.dep: No such file or directory: 188 Time(s)
 ---------------------- ModProbe End -------------------------

Looking in my log files:

boot.log-20120212:Bringing up interface eth0:  modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.32-131.17.1.el6.x86_64/modules.dep: No such file or directory
boot.log-20120212:FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.32-131.17.1.el6.x86_64/modules.dep: No such file or directory
 
And a directory listing ...

[root at dal-bx3 log]# ls -alF /lib/modules/2.6.32-131.17.1.el6.x86_64
total 12
drwxr-xr-x. 3 root root 4096 Jan 26 06:02 ./
dr-xr-xr-x. 5 root root 4096 Feb  2 21:51 ../
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root 4096 Dec 12 03:23 misc/

On my other 5108 there are files in that directory.

I've tried 'yum clean all' and 'yum update' but those didn't seem to resolve the issue.

Perhaps someone here will know what direction I should be looking in. I don't.
