Lew is correct.   In addition, the same recommendations would hold true 
for the Scientific Linux versions since they are pretty much identical.

I'm surprised to see the insufficient RAM message come across, but then 
again it has been some time since I have tried putting anything like 
that into production.   I would be curious to know if you obtain better 
results after upgrading to 512MB.   Then again, given that you could buy 
a used 64-bit machine with 2GB or so for under $50, it may not be worth 
investing in the old hardware.   A P3-555 is a VERY OLD system!  I can 
say that because I'm actually running a P2-400 with 64MB RAM and it 
happens to be incredibly stable.   All it does is just take my backups 
every night....   Your P3 box may be more suited to that sort of duty 
than as a hosting machine.
