All BO have  a 125 value of MaxClients ,  sorry.
So,  you must upgrade machine's  CPU  or Memory.

  Look  a value of  "MaxClients"  in   /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf .

  If  the value is less 100,  you might have to upgrade your machine,  at 
this case.

    Does anyone have any nice pointers on how I can optimize a blueonyx box 
to except more than a 100 connections at the same time? I did put in a 
higher user count but still when have a 100 users connected the server 
starts to put out 503 pages.
