Hello Bill,
try what you did with virtusertable with every other file in the /etc/mail directory of which a ".db" version exists - we had this problem with /etc/mail/access as well.

Subject: [BlueOnyx:13111] Email Server Map

Good afternoon –

One of our BlueOnyz servers is returning this error when trying to delete a visite:

"Sorry, an error occurred while trying to create an email server map file. If mail server configuration files were removed or manually modified, please restore the original versions and try again."

Not surprisingly we see the same error when trying to add or delete a vsite user.  The same thing occurs on all vsites.

I thought I knew how to fix this.  Evidently not.  So far we've done the following:

1) backed up and deleted the /var/mail/virtusertable.db file.

2) run  makemap hash virtusertable < virtusertable to rebuild the virtual user table database.

3) run newaliases

4) restarted the server

5) verified permissions for /var/mail and all contents are the same as one of our working BlueOnyx servers.

6) backed up virtusertable and virtusertable.db (again)

7) removed all but one vsite from virtusertable

8) run  makemap hash virtusertable < virtusertable to rebuild the virtual user table database.

9) tried to add a user to the remaining vsite.  Tested again.

10) restarted the server.  Tested again.

Still no joy.  Obviously I missed something.  Ideas, anyone?

Thanks!
