That didn't work ...

[root at server2 ~]# service named start
/etc/init.d/named: line 24: .: /etc/sysconfig/named: cannot execute binary file

I think I will take the opportunity to upgrade/migrate to 5108 :) ... probably the easiest route rather than fiddling around, and I also then get the latest version.
