[BlueOnyx:18841] 5209R setup wizard stuck

Just configured a new 5209R on Aventurin{e} and am having issues with 
the setup wizard.

Using either Firefox or Chrome browsers, I get all the way to the 
Finalize step and then click Done, but get:
Sorry, the data entered in the field newpass is invalid. Please check 
your input and try again.
Sorry, the data entered in the field sql_rootpassword is invalid. Please 
check your input and try again.

Given that I'm using cut & paste, and have also tried manually typing 
the passwords, I'm fairly assured the passwords are, in fact, valid. 
They pass the strength validation test.

I thought the issue might be related to needing a Yum update before 
beginning the wizard, but if I do that, then the progress bar just comes 
up at each step and will not go away until I hit Esc.

Thoughts or suggestions?
