I looked at it and cannot reproduce the problem, nor do I have a solid
idea what could cause it. It would help if I had access to the affected
box and/or knew the GUI URL's where the behaviour occurs. Because the
URL parameters would be an indicator what's happening there and what the
GUI state is at that time.

Do you get the loop via the Vsite DNS management, via "Network Services"
/ "DNS" or both?

The less error-prone and more complete way to manipulate DNS is via
"Network Services" / "DNS", as that one gives you access to all DNS
records. If you access the DNS records via the Vsite management, you
only get to see the zones that this Vsite is allowed to manage.

The actual DNS records are stored as Objects in CODB. As a work around
you could manipulate them via "/usr/sausalito/bin/cceclient" from the
shell. There are two types of DNS related Objects in CODB:

DnsSOA
DnsRecord
