Hello,

a customer is trying to delete sites. The process is deleting users, , deleting sites.
Then it hangs. After 20 mins he get a timout.

At shell level you can see

4236 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sausalito/sbin/vsite_destroy.pl site67 /vsite/vsiteList

And what is curious for me such processes:

5016 ? S 0:00 bin/pperl handlers/base/network/change_route.pl
 5018 ? S 0:00 pperld /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/network/change_route.pl
 5024 ? S 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-post ifcfg-eth0
 5278 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl -I. /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/network/change_route.pl -c
 5391 ? Ss 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/rc.d/init.d/network start
 5505 ? S 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-post ifcfg-eth0 boot
 5622 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl -I. /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/network/change_route.pl -c

I killed processes 5622 and 5278.
Then shell session freeze and afterwards some new processes are there

6912 ? S 0:00 bin/pperl handlers/base/network/change_route.pl
 6914 ? S 0:00 pperld /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/network/change_route.pl
 6921 ? S 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-post ifcfg-eth0
 7176 ? Ss 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/rc.d/init.d/network start
 7217 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl -I. /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/network/change_route.pl -c
 7337 ? S 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-post ifcfg-eth0 boot
 7439 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl -I. /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/network/change_route.pl -c

But destroy process is still pending

4236 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sausalito/sbin/vsite_destroy.pl site67 /vsite/vsiteList

What is either curious. The server do have only one ip address. So destroying a site should not affect the ip settings?

As far as I know Michael did change something for the ip route settings (is this live?) maybe we see a side effect here?

Please help what I can do that the customer I able to delete sites again.

Best regrads,
Dirk
