Hi Michael,

thank you for your answer.
Why can't I set a link local as default gateway? That's common practice.
I did of course not set fe80:: as gateway address, I just left out the
last 112 bit of the address.

I manually removed the prefix information from sendmail.cf and it seems
to be working, thank you.
