Are these VPS's on Aventurin{e} 6108R? If so, try this from the master node:

vzctl stop <VPSID>
vzquota drop <VPSID>
vzctl start <VPSID>

Then once the VPS is up again, enter into the VPS and do the usual:

/usr/sausalito/sbin/disk_restorequotas.pl
/usr/sbin/swatch
