Good morning.

We occasionally see the FTP  service on some of our 5209R servers stopping.

Stopping and starting the service sometimes works and if that fails rebooting the server sometimes works. But not always.

If I ignore it, it eventually seems to right itself – but sometimes only a day or two later.

This doesn’t happen all the time and not on all our servers. All are up to date.

Top shows no real pressure on the afflicted server.

Anybody able to give me an idea where to look to resolve the problem?
