[BlueOnyx:27155] IMAP with Outllok

Hello everybody

For a few days now, there have been a lot of customer inquiries about problems using a IMAP BlueOnyx account with Outlook. The reason is that the "new Outlook" is preinstalled as standard on the new devices.

As of Outlook 2019, it is no longer so easy to connect an IMAP account with BlueOnyx because Outlook uses the email address as username. Even when Outlook 2019 was first used, it was not possible to specify a BlueOnxy IMAP account directly. By going through Manage Profiles, you could enter a username in IMAP and add the mailbox to Outlook in this way.

I have no found this option in the "new Outlook". There is a way to enter a username, but this is only used for sending.

I ask customers to switch from the "new Outlook" to Classic/Legacy mode. Most customers are overwhelmed by this and this function for switching is not always in the same place.

takes a lot of time and nerves to calm the users down.

Does anyone else have this problem and perhaps has a simple solution?
