That's true indeed. Good point!

OTOH: Postfix has been the default MTA for 5210R and 5211R for a while now.

When I implement the support for "allow email-address as username" I 
might have to put a fat warning next to the MTA selector that this 
feature isn't possible when the MTA is Sendmail. Or I need to visibly 
deactivate the feature in the GUI if Sendmail is chosen.
