Michael,

  Thanks, was able to press ESC and finish the form.  The first time it came
right back to the same intro and I had to press ESC on each page to get to 
the next.   After the third time through it appeared to "take" and i am able
to access the server normally now.

  Nothing in /var/log/messages except some "has admin rights" messages as
I went from page to page and no errored tabs behind the screen.
