Ive seen it tangentially. Our office has a rogue group that insisted on
buying androids instead of iDevices.

Recently, the update to our Mobile Device Manager, Mobile Iron broke
some devices. (specifically i-915 tablets that are locked into 4.1.2)
They would still work for everything except mail in the native app. Some
devices would also only download calendar items created in Exchange...
items created on the device wouldnt upload to the Exchange server.

Approximately 90 minutes after the installer adds the device
certificate, The cert is arbitrarily removed from the device. Either its
gone, or is there but unreadable.

The corrective fix was to either install a 3rd party mail client (ironic
since Samsung's selling point was its Exchange friendly native apps) or
switch to an older version of the MDM agent.

Not sure if that helps but I thought I would mention it. Try installing
a different mail client and see if that helps.
